About

Our Story

KoZy Crafting was born of a love of tinkering, creating and problem solving.

I’m Luke. I’ve been playing around with woodworking, resin crafting, pyrography and various other crafts as hobbies for many years now. Around seven years ago I began to build my own workshop in my garden. I built a lathe using a drill and wooden supports so I could start turning toys for my children. My interest in tabletop RPGs – notably Dungeons and Dragons – led to the creation of dice through resin casting and silicone moulds. This joined nicely with woodworking when I began making wands and received an order for several dice sets to be supplied with bespoke necklaces; resin and wood combined to align with the design of the characters they were playing.

Originally KoZy Carpentry – a combination of my two online aliases, Koruku and Zydragon – it became KoZy Crafting when my repertoire expanded to 3D printing, pyrography, mirror burring, and anything else that interests me!

Printing off the Page

With the addition of resin printing to my skillset, the materials and quality that I can offer know fewer boundaries. Able to print in PLA, ABS, PETG and photopolymer resin of various types, my modest but well-cared-for printers can handle much.

Under Pressure

With a custom-made pressure chamber, upgraded from an old paint pressure pot, any resin crafts are finished bubble free and shiny, especially after sanding to a ridiculously high grit!

Requests Great and Small

Not limited to the current hobbies I seem to have collected, I will try my hand at anything, within reason! If you have any requests for a creation, be they listed or not, use the contact form!
